{"id":41,"date":"2016-03-23T11:58:53","date_gmt":"2016-03-23T11:58:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.sunderlandsab.org.uk\/?page_id=41"},"modified":"2024-12-05T16:03:09","modified_gmt":"2024-12-05T16:03:09","slug":"training","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.sunderlandsab.org.uk\/?page_id=41","title":{"rendered":"Training"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><em>IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT OCTOBER 2024: NEW BOOKING SYSTEM <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>SSAB and Sunderland Safeguarding Children Partnership are delighted to announce the launch of our new event booking system. \u00a0To access all Sunderland\u2019s training and learning events concerning safeguarding follow this <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/sunderlandsafeguarding.event-booking.org.uk\/\">link<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>You will now be able to view and book on adults and children\u2019s specific safeguarding courses from one easy to use site.<\/p>\n<p>You will be required to register prior to booking. Please familiarise yourself with the <a href=\"https:\/\/sunderlandsafeguarding.event-booking.org.uk\/terms\">attendance policy<\/a> before doing so as inappropriate cancellations and non-attendance will result in a fine.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Trainer-led Safeguarding Adults Training\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Sunderland Safeguarding Adults Board&#8217;s training offer is available to all employees working in health, social care, emergency services, housing, independent sector,\u00a0care homes and home care service providers and the voluntary, charity and community sector, within Sunderland.\u00a0 You can read the Course Outlines by clicking on the course names below:<\/p>\n<div id=\"contact\">\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sunderlandsab.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/RaisSGconcCrseOutlineNov21FINAL.pdf\" rel=\"\">Raising a Safeguarding Adults Concern<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sunderlandsab.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/MArolesCrseOutlineNov21FINAL.pdf\" rel=\"\">Multi-Agency Roles during the Safeguarding Adults Process<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sunderlandsab.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/MCADoLScrseOutlineNov21FINAL.pdf\" rel=\"\">Mental Capacity Act &amp; Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS)<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sunderlandsab.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/AssessMentalCapaxNov21FINAL.pdf\" rel=\"\">How to Assess Mental Capacity<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sunderlandsab.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/SNnHoardCrseOutlineNov21FINAL.pdf\" rel=\"\">Self-Neglect and Hoarding<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A hybrid model of delivery is now offered, which means you can choose from either a face-to-face in-person training session, or a session delivered online via Microsoft Teams; whichever best suits your circumstances.<\/p>\n<p>Please note these courses may be subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances &#8211; if a date has to be cancelled and rearranged, any delegates booked to attend will be contacted about this.<\/p>\n<p>Trainer-led safeguarding adults training (face-to-face and Microsoft Teams) sessions are charged at \u00a320 per person per session (Sunderland City Council and NHS exclusions apply)\u00a0 &#8211; an invoice will be raised for your organisation after the training has taken place.
